Eritrean Leadership Divided Over The Impending War With Ethiopia!

Post by Horus » 13 Jun 2025, 14:17

What is dividing the Eritrean leadership?

One: Should we solve the Assab issue peacefully or militarily?

Two: If we decide a military solution, can Eritrea defeat Ethiopia and continue to protect Assab militarily indefinitely?

The unrealistic wing believe that they can defeat Ethiopia. The more rational wing thinks otherwise. This second wing doubts their short term victory and long term protection of Assab.

The content of this video makes sense, in my view.

If it is indeed the case, the culprit of all the damages caused in the last few years is Isayas Afeworki of Eritrea, is the sole responsible for the damage.

Yes, Ethiopia and Eritrea did agree on the framework of Assab Free Economic Zone or something very similar, where both countries could develop the facility and use freely, without any one having an upper hand over it, while ensuring Ethiopia's aspiration of unimpeded access to the sea.

Isayas as someone always bent on just stirring some sort of intrigue and conspiracy dragged his foot on the agreement and latter on even thwarted the full implementation. The man is hell-bent on sabotaging the internal peace and security of Ethiopia and thereby keeping the country under his domination. He has in effect overstretched himself to what he can't.

Eritrea should learn to come to terms with what it is in reality: a junior partner of the cooperation or any form of relationship between the two. There is no way that Eritrea can seriously keep Ethiopia under the domination of Eritrea and expect any sort of progress.

It costed us the last over 7 years time and money to get to where we were back then (deal between the two nations under the auspices of Saudi Arabia).

This oldie horsey ugly stupid Guragie does not get it, does he ?

Ethiopia would violate Eritrean sovereignty hence Eritrea has every right to defend its sovereignty. If Ethiopia takes Assab by force, Eritrea has every right to fight for its sovereignty territory. That means hell for Ethiopia. World opinion despite Isayas will be the protection of Eritrean sovereignty territory. We are not even talking about the impending sanctions. Fu…Coker, Abbiy is trying to ride over you like a horney donkey on your behind. Ethiopian disintegration is imminent. 8) :x
