ETHIOPIA ― The Ministry of Health announced it is intensifying efforts to contain the ongoing monkeypox outbreak in the country.
According to the latest figures, 18 cases have been confirmed to date. Of those, five patients have fully recovered, 12 remain under medical care, and one has died.
Health officials say containment measures are being strengthened to prevent further spread of the virus.
