Imo, Abiy used Esayas to defeat the TPLF, but he stabbed him by signing the Pretoria agreement. Esu thought he’d get another chance to meddle in Ethiopian affairs, but Abiy and his allies caught him when he planned to have Abiy for lunch after eliminating the TPLF.
