Let's Start the 34th Independence Day Celebrations

Post by sesame » 17 May 2025, 21:14

34 years ago, on May 24, 1991, the glorious Eritrean People's Liberation Army (EPLA) defeated the huge 200,000 man Ethiopian Army in Eritrea and liberated Asmara, the last hold-out of the Ethiopian occupying forces. EPLA could have liberated Eritrea a year earlier, but with Mengistu in power, the danger was obvious. The mad-dog would have bombed Asmara and destroyed it. The EPLF leaders knew from the get-go that for Eritrea to be totally free and secure, they needed to go all the way to Arat kilo and defeat not just the Ethiopian Army but the notion that Eritrea belonged to Ethiopia. And that is what they did. EPLA tanks rolled into Addis, took control of Arat kilo, and installed a puppette Agame regime to adminster Ethiopia. The rest is history!

Celebrate what?
Arab Abid Concubine slave. You are a very slow learner Abid. I had been posting here that a time will come that the Arab slaves of Eritrea will one day bend their knees to beg the Tigrayan people. I have been posting here for the freedom of Eritreans in the savage Arab Muslim slavery, while the Arab slaves like you were preaching an empty -- One heart, one people.
Eritreans will never be free until they respect the history of their gallant fathers who died to protect and defend their languages, land, history and way of life from the savage Arabs.
You, the Arab Abid slave was calling my own Eritrean brothers and sisters in Arab slavery: Agames! Who are these people to celebrate what?

Mesob Z Agame,

We understand your deep despair. Nothing can be worse than to be an Agame these days! Funny, all these Agames are languishing in Arab Yemen and Saudi Arabia!

The last battle took place on May 25 in Assab, when the EPLF defeated the last remnants of government loyalists.
