Completely right.

To have a historical context to this note is that when Amara began southward expansion, one of the settled communities it met were the Gafats and their subclan of Bizamo. Historians located village names bearing Gafat language near Menz, Tegublet, etc. As a result of these findings they believe the Gafats were pushed westward to the Abay River by the southward expansion of Amara.

What can safely be concluded is that a large part of Shewa was a Gafat Gurage territory prior to the advent of southward Amara movement followed by Oromo north bound movement. The Gafat Gurages who were close kins of Chebo, Gelila, Amaya and Sodo or Kistane were squeezed betweenn two alien forces of doom. May be they did not resist their enemies enough. May be they did not see them as enemies who would extinct them. May be they saw them as weird strangers residing on no-mans lands or common grasslands who would not hurt them but in time they learnt these strangers demanded that the natives speak their language.

Believe me that the cushitic revolultion is here to stay. It's ked by OLF and PP. They may not call it Oromoma but it's and more than that. It envelopes, coordinates and unifies the views and actions of all cushitic language speakers. It targets Amara and Gurage as enemies but Tigrey and Eritrea as comrades. I strongly believe Odie is right in supporting Fano. Shaf I will do farrher than suppoeting Fano is organizing a Gurage group to fight for its legitimate and equitable rights in Ethiopia
