I find some news that I heard on May 6, 2025, regarding a secretive election process of a new Pope by the cardinals very unbelievable.
It was completely a new thing for me to hear that the cardinals that elect the new Pope are allowed to have reading materials during the secretive process. The news added that many of the cardinals would have something called college of cardinals report, which is published by two Catholic journalists, one British, one American.
The news of the secretive process to elect the new Pope didn’t surprise me that much. What I fail to understand is the cardinals getting access to a report written only by British and American journalists during such a secretive process. If it included a Italian journalist, it wouldn’t be that much unbelievable for me.
This news reminded me something I heard Chris Christy say during the 2016 Presidential campaign. If I remember correctly, he said that he pledged allegiance to the Queen of England or something to that effect.
Be that as it may, what does it say for cardinals from around the world to have access to a report authored by only British and American journalists in order to elect a new Pope at The Vatican City in the middle of Rome through such a secretive process?
I couldn’t help asking if the British Empire has metamorphosed to elect a Pope to sit in the middle of Rome. Where have the descendants of the Roman Empire gone and failed to have a Italian reporter included in writing the college of cardinals report?
If the former British Empire has metamorphosed to be involved in such a secretive process to elect a Pope in Rome, what kind of royalty is leading it? At what age of evolution does such a royalty live? If such a metamorphosed empire exists, why does it choose to live in secrecy in the whole wide world in which it wishes to thrive?
How many families around the world has such a family touched positively or negatively?
How is this story in the history of humankind fathomable unless I am missing something?
