"When we elect a comedian to the palace"

Post by DefendTheTruth » 06 May 2025, 15:58

"We elect comedians, and as one wise man was it Albert Einstein who said when you elect a comedian to take him or her to the palace the palace becomes a circus and that is why we have what we have today", Prof. PLO

We also elect a rebel head to the palace and the palace becomes just a jungle, where the likes of Isayas Afeworki dwells in, isolated from the rest of the modern world.

I have not watched the video yet, I'm responding based on the title and what's been written down. Ethiopia has a leader who has a PhD in Peaceful Resolution of Conflict. It is ironic! PM Abiy Ahmed is probably the only leader in the world who has a PhD in Peaceful Resolution of Conflict. He had a conflict that is said to be 21st century's deadliest war in Tigray which has killed more people than those died in Ukraine and Gaza combined. His conflict is Amhara is killing civilians and soldiers in every corner of the region. What is the status of peace in Ethiopia under Abiy?

Has Abiy's PhD in conflict resolution made Ethiopia a model of peaceful resolution of conflicts? Could a comedian do worse than Dr Abiy?

Some politicians were actors and comedians before they became politicians. Here's a list of the famous ones.

We also elect a rebel head to the palace and the palace becomes just a jungle, where the likes of illiterate Abit beshasha Ahned dwells inside Minilik palace turned into a circus , isolated from the rest of ethiopia the & the rest of modern worl educated head of state. The fool is building a 15,000,000,000 dollar palace while 30,000,000 citizens have nothing to eat.

Bullsh'it, as usual.

A. Einstein never said that. The right phrase, which is a Turkish proverb, is:
When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king, the palace becomes a circus.
And the best candidate for this is without doubt your clown monkey at Menelik Palace.

sarcasm,

I don't know what exactly a lesson those taking courses in "resolution of conflict" learn about, but reading your comment it must be something like succumbing to all kinds of demands of all elements of any kind.

Your example of TPLF says it all. TPLF started a war it dubbed something like "preemptive strike, using a blitzkrieg" and hoped to achieve its goal of incapacitating the federal government within hours, if not minutes. It boasted about reaching anywhere in the country and beyond (this one was in reference to Eritrea, I assume and it was latter confirmed by its actively firing missiles into Eritrean territories). This is not my subjective interpretation but objective reality of the time on the ground, you can deny that!

If it is widely and objectively accepted that TPLF was the initiator of the war and the war latter on turned out as one of the most deadly, then logic dictates that the blame lies squarely on the initiator of the war, not on the party that acted in self-defense, you can deny this fact too!

I have no access to the empirical data that shows the war was the "deadliest of the 21st century" but if that is the case, then you are just incriminating those you are supposedly trying to defend, good job!

Credentials of PM Abiy Ahmed in trying to resolve sources of conflicts by means of peaceful means are everywhere, unless somebody is simply determined to deny facts until the end.

He invited countless political adversaries to come home and engage in peaceful dialogue and achieve their political goals, many accepted and went home and now engage themselves politically and even work in the government, like the good Prof. Berhanu Nega, as an example. He was condemned to death by your own TPLF led government in Ethiopia prior to that, you can deny.

The same is true with the likes of OLF, ONLF and more. All were declared "terrorists" in your own TPLF led government of Ethiopia, you can keep denying.

Not all of them wanted to make use of the offered peaceful means of leading politics and now those who chose to opt out are also on the losing side, starting with your own TPLF. The lose of TPLF has just started in Tigray and the region is undergoing a dewoyanization phase now. TPLF is done, as we knew it.

Shane is on the run, so is Faandoo and many more.

You can keep degenerating yourself to a state of self-denial, after loosing the arguments you had. I am done with you!
