Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today. The Secretary and Prime Minister discussed the desire to strengthen the bilateral relationship around mutual priorities, including stability in the Horn of Africa. The Secretary reaffirmed U.S. support for a peaceful and prosperous Ethiopia.

US-Ethiopia relations has been on the decline since the fall of TPLF. Now thanks to the removal of Democrats from power relations can be jump started including AGOA.

I am sure Abiy Ahmed asked USA to support our quest for Sea Access.

Horn stability definitely included Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Ethio-Eritrean possible war.

Peaceful Ethiopia definitely included TPLF, Pretoria, FANO and OLA.

The shortness of the official statement tells that there were a lot things talked about and very little mutual agreement.

አንድ ፈጽሞ የረሳሃው ነገር ግን ኢትዮጵያና እስራኤል እያደረጉት ያለውን ጨዋቻ ለዋጭ ስምምነት ነው። የአባይን ግድም የምንጠብቅበት ጸረ አይሮፕላንና ሚሳይ መከላከያ የሰጡን እና ምናልባትም አጠቃቀሙን የሚያቁት አስራኤሎች ናቸው ።

እስራኤል የቀይ ባህል ኃይል ሆና ጸረ እስራኤል ኃይሎችን መከላከት ነው ፍላጎትዋ! ይህ ደሞ የትራምና ሩቢዮ አላማ ነው ። አቢይ አህመድ ካሜሪካኖች የሚኖርበት ግፊት ከስልጣን ወረድ የሚል ሳይሆን ከቻይናና ሩሲያ ወጥተህ ካሜሪካ ጋራ ቁምና የቀይ ባህር በር እናስከፍትልሃለን የሚል ነው የሚሆነው ።

በእርግጠኝነት ስለ ኤ አይ ዲ በዝርዝር ተነጋግረዋል ። ለዚህ ደሞ የአቢይ መልስ ይታወቃል ። ሰሞኑን አዲስ ታክስ ደንግገዋል ፤ የታክሱ አላማ አሜሪካ ያቋረተውን እርዳታ መሸፈኛ ነው። ስለዚህ አሜሪካ የአለም ባንክን ብድር እየፈቀደች ፣ የድሮ ብድር ሽግሽኝ እየደገፈችና ኢትዮጵያ የአለም ንግድ ድርጅት አባላ እንድትሆን እየደገፈች እያለቻቢይን ከስልጣን ለማውረድ እየሰሩ ነው የሚለው ከምኞት አያልፍም ።
