Unilateral separation cannot work it will just be a self declared autonomous state if the Somali region declares independence with out an agreement from Addis Ababa. Unless Ethioppia collapses and total state collapse happens . But don’t see that happening but even if that happens like it happend in Somalia in 1991. Somaliland declared independence in 1991 but that didn’t give them recognition even when the Somali state was in absence for over a decade from 1991 untill 2000 2001. So unilateral never works unless ur backed by the west such as Kosovo but I don’t see that happening . Either for African situations the best scenario I can’t see a scenario because gallas won’t agree with our separation amhara won’t agree with our separation.
