Taking to the streets and setting things on fire are the actions of people who believe that they have reached rock bottom and have nothing to lose.
But why do Ethiopians largely remain passive to the actions of TPLF and OLF criminal gangs?
Or is it because they have not hit rock bottom??
Re: Why are Ethiopians passive?
Ask the Eritreans who rather get fatally mauled by a white shark or flee to the passive nation and stare at ER forum 24/7 than take it to the streets.

Because we are a high IQ population who clearly identified our enemies. Absolutely not Eritrea’s founding fathers.

Re: Why are Ethiopians passive?
Not good to be logical for an intentional toxic message here but for the record, it is because Ethiopians are now deeply divided along ethnic and religious lines. This was one of the plan that the CIA assisted and enabled the EPLF and TPLF back in the 70s as per declassfied document that qouted Henry Kissinger when he said "Ethnic politics and federalism is the way to go for Ethiopia".Tiago wrote: ↑10 Mar 2025, 05:12Taking to the streets and setting things on fire are the actions of people who believe that they have reached rock bottom and have nothing to lose.

As they planned, their tool (TPLF) divided Ethiopians at every level of sectarian lines and TPLF's offspring OPDO continued on it rendering Unity (citizen) based politics useless. Now lets get back to what honourable Selam asked you. Why are Eritrean oppositon lack the courage to wage meaningful opposition despite the fact that they are huge in number? aren't they passive? come, on it is easier to demonstrate in western streets but their struggle can only bear fruit if they are on the ground. Don't you think?
