As a black race, we should be ashamed of this achievement. There is no one country better than the other to be proud of. We all are open defecators.
Specially in cities.
I thought some countries are worse in this than Eritrea due to land and population mass. There must be some statistical adjustment error or misinterpretation of data without enough information for cursory watcher.

As shown in the figure number 01, since the year 1990 the open defection was reduced by 31 per cent in India alone which stand for huge number of 394 Million people affected the estimates about open defection made at regional and global level.
