When Jamaica found itself unable to pay the interest on its $15 billion dollar IMF debt, the IMF imposed its draconian economic policies on the island nation that focused on tourism development, with IMF loans spent on new vacation resorts, hotels, airports, etc, that cater to foreign tourists, while Jamaicans continue to face higher rates of poverty.

Good point. All carribeans are controlled as thy are small nations. Ethiopia has been chewed since Tplf rule and the final phase is current indicating the building of 15 min cities, take over of natural resources and our institutions privatized.
