The funniest of all of it is that the so called information minister is defending the business by saying "don't give it to the Ethiopians, only the Eritrean, because we denied them the right to a peaceful life in their own country". He added "Ethiopians don't deserve it, because they have a peaceful country, no reason to grant them asylum somewhere else." "Asylum should be granted to only Eritreans, whom my government deprived any sort of freedom at home".
Effectively he admitted and confirmed the fact that:
"Eritrea continues to suppress basic rights, including freedom of opinion, religion, and expression, with heightened restrictions in the context of forced mass conscription", where is a minister of Information.
