Here another prosperity party and prosperity gospel motivated symbolic prayer 
No problem with what they do but for me this kind of things should not be done in public media. People can pray in private unless they want show or promotion. It should not be done for one region of the country too. Lack of wisdom!

I have no problem if ex-PMs honestly repent from their previous sins and become good practicing christian.
But I have problem when they give up their old ways and bring them to podium as a show or influencer. That is wrong. We don’t need their show or to show that an ex-minster or a wife of a minster is an evangelical. That is a wrong thing for a church to do. Christianity did not and does not need powerful people in the show. That is not how it came to prominence.
I don’t listen Zinash songs while her husband is an ethnofascist droning people here and there and committing inummerable atrocities. Abiy, we heard him talk many times that he does not even meet the basic knowledge or practice criteria to be a christian.
Churches, pastors, so called prophets and individual believers have mushroomed in Ethiopia who believe Abiy and his party are God send. We hear many of his appointees are evangelicals. That is a big NO NO! Christianity does not operate that way. Christianity is about Gods kingdom and saving souls for God’s kingdom. It is about justice and truth. Noting political, wealth, money and power. This is a mafia group exploiting the nation and the poor and promoting ethnic strife. Any christian who promotes ethnic politics is not disciple of jesus. jesus came to save people from all walks, race and ethnicity and make them desciples. So ethnic &race politics is not for real christian. Currently evangelical christianity is not regulated in the country or elsewhere and everybody becomes a pastor, prophet, apostle, a theological doctor as he/she thinks it fit.
So we have big problem in Ethiopia and elsewhere in the world with this.
