Re: Egyptian naval vessel carrying weapons for Somalia docks at Mogadishu port to unload cargo.

In fact, they're two ships. One is a massive cargo ship and the other one is a warship. They're currently being unloaded at Mogadishu Port.
Somali military officials recently visited Cairo to appeal for 'better' weapons after claims a recent consignment was largely sub-standard.
This is the usual bullsh'it of Rashid Abdi, which he has plucked out of his own ar'se.

The previous consignments were of various modern military weapons and equipment. Some were purchased by Somalia, while the rest were donated.

የፈሪ ዱላው ብዙ ነው። ፈሪ የማይመታበትን የዱላ መዐት ተሸክሞ ይዞራል። A coward carries bundles of wood as if the number of stick could help in the fight. The more the load of sticks, the more the fear of its carrier. Perhaps, Egypt is the most coward country in Sub-Sharan Africa that never won any battle since it became a country. Somalia is the only one that extinguished itself as a country shortly after created by the west by the mixing apple and oranges ( Italy Somalia + British Somalia).

RIP Somalia  If support could breath life into a country, Somalia would have lived the longest. Arabs, AU, West worked their arse off, but Somalia crashed itself like an egg falling or an asphalt road. A lesson for any future hypocrite.

The 20,000 Ethiopian forces stationed in Somalia are asked to leave the country before the year end to make room for the 50,000 Egyptian troops scheduled to arrive in 2025. Ethiopia stands to lose $100 million a year in EU funding for its Somalia mission. Egypt is literally eating our lunch. :|

Ethiopia is the only country on earth that cries to keep its troops in a foreign country to fight a war that's not theirs, and this clearly proves that Ethiopia wants its troops to stay in Somalia purely for financial gains and nothing else. They don't even care that there's not a single Somali that feels sorrow for the loss of their men. All they care about is the money they get from the West!

When Burundians and Kenyans were asked to go home, they were very happy, while Ethiopians are crying for having been asked to pack up and go home!

May be it is time we start exploring other revenue generating options than a "peace-keeping" mission that is widely seen as an "occupation by proxy." If our country Ethiopia's economy continues to be dependent upon our neighboring countries not having peace, then we cannot have peace either.

The mercenary mindset prevalent in our Ethiopian society must be eradicated and replaced with a modern mindset that appreciates the modernity and development peace brings.
