Ethio-Russian relation is historical and not a simple matter to easily brush away.
Russia provided diplomatic and military support to Ethiopia during the First Italo-Ethiopian War:
Diplomatic support: Russia was the only European power to offer diplomatic support to Ethiopia.
Military support: In 1891, Tsar Nicholas II provided Emperor Menelik II's army with 10,000 soldiers.
Red Cross mission: Russia sent a Red Cross mission to provide medical support to Ethiopian troops, but it arrived too late for the fighting.
Russia's support for Ethiopia increased its prestige in the country. In 1902, Russia established a permanent diplomatic presence in Addis Ababa

Russian insult OLF as "a piece of crap" after FANNO defeated them!
They came with their Drones, Tanks, and two million soldiers! But Amara killed them all. Russia is learning and being motivated by FANNO! And Ethiopians in general for fighting out invaders and defeat them

It's okay to mention historical facts but you must state the objectives if you claim to be a non educated fool
I know you are one
What am saying, folks, is that Russia sent soldiers to learn from Menelk. Remember, Menelik defeated Italians over 3 times already including the battle al of Adwa.
It's after Adwa Russia sent some soldiers to Menelk. Keep that in mind
We never get tired of schooling these so called educated
