Gebru and me saw what Tigray would be under the leadership of Debresiol GebreAnzar. The only difference between us was, Gebru predicted Debresiol is a disaster for Tigray after he sworn in but I predicted and tried to stop Debresiol to take over the presidency of Tigray during their meetings and before even picked up by Sebhat and General Kinfe. I said let Abay Woldu to continue for few months until the demonstration against Tigray show us a clear road and then Tigray should decide what to do for Qoshasha Ethiopia and my recommendation was to resolve the country in ethnic nations in parliament. How do you do it, give all ethnics nation seekers like Oromia, Sidama and Wolaita by removing Oromo EPRDF and bring new leaders from Oromo and take it to the paliament to vote and approve for it in order the UN and AU to recognize it. Already Somali and Afar were begging Tigray to go for independent and Somali and Afar would join Tigray and both presidents were begging the Diqalu to do it and ask Beneshangule to join them and have their own nation. How Tigray squandered the golden opportunity and went to genocide???

I doubt Gebru is a capable leader. He is too selfish to take risks and stand for his principles.
He is the kind of person who would swallow his pride and keep mum in in places which require courage to ask difficult questions and see them answered. More like the dead professor Beyene Petros. Both have seen their closest comrades went to prison for taking bald leadership roles but they remained free with all the chaos that surround them, by respecting their untouchable opponents such as Meles Zeradwa.
Not ye-qurt qen lij!!
Beyene disclosed in public media that he avoided prisons by declining to ask serious questions
