I recall, I just visited Eritrea few weeks ago to attend the wedding of my nephew.
My nephew was stationed in Tembien with his unit prior to his marriage. Hence, while I was in Keren, I asked him if he with his comrades were massacring tigriyans. He laughed out loud. He said on the contrary, the tigriyans were running from the amharas and seeking shelter and coming to our camps. He adds, we were accommodating them, feeding them and we saved them from the brutal amharas.
