Who Defeated And Kicked Out The 70.000 Ethiopian Troops In Somalia In 2007?

Post by Somaliman » 10 Sep 2024, 15:54

Who defeated this massive Ethiopian army of 70,000 Ethiopian troops as estimated by military experts, led by not a clown monkey Galla, but Meles Zenawi with every support from the West?

This army was defeated and kicked out of Somalia in humiliation not by a national Somali army, but ordinary Somalis.

Beware the Somali strength. We fight and quarrel between us, but when an outsider brings on their ar'se, we suddenly unite and fight as one.

Somali warlords were more or less Meles Zenawi little bitches hence I dont know which somaalwyen you are talking about. People Abdullahi yousuf and Ali Mohamed Gedi were Meles Zenawi vassals. I give credit for the Islamic courts leaders and in particular Hassan Awey and all were Hawiye.

I haven't said they were defeated by warlords. To the Somali people, the warlords and the likes of Geeddi were no different from Ethiopia. They were defeated by the Islamic Courts, and contrary to what you've stated, Islamic Courts were made up mainly of Rahaweyn and Hawiye and not only Hawiye. The Islamic Courts were made up of ordinary Somalis.

So imagine that our ordinary Somalis with basic AK-47s defeated and humiliated the sh'it out of an army of 70.000 made up mostly of Agames with massive heavy and modern arsenal!

See, we defeated the sh'it out of the Agames, the only fighters in Ethiopia. and sent them back to their shithole with their tales between their fuc'king dirty legs.

When it comes to fighting, not a single Ethiopian ethnic is a match for the Somalis.

Abdullahi Yusuf and Geedi could be seen as prositutes of Ethiopia, serving the interests of a foreign power rather than their own nation Somalia. The situation, however, was far from black and white. While the Maqawama courts and Al-Shabaab militants and xisbal islam, who were fundamentally Somali, managed to defeat the Ethiopian forces, the conflict was layered with complexity.

For instance, members of the Hawiye clan supported the Transitional Federal Government (TFG), including Geedi, while notable figures from the Darood clan, such as Hassan Turki, stood with the resistance. The opposition party in Somaliland, the Kulmiye party, which now governs Somaliland, harboured Islamists who also opposed the Ethiopian invasion. Many youth from the northern regions joined the resistance against Ethiopia, further illustrating the diverse nature of the conflict.

The Ogaden people and the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), hailing from Ethiopian territory, aligned themselves with the movement to re-liberate Somalia. Thus, the conflict cannot be reduced to simple binaries of loyalty and betrayal; traitors emerged from all clans, just as patriots did. While some warlords, like Gacmadheere, Seeraar, and Mohammed Geedi and Mahammad dhere and abdi qeybdiid , sided with Ethiopia, others fled to Nairobi in opposition to the Ethiopian invasion and the Agame regime's interference in Somali affairs.
