Army's chief commander field marshal Birhanu Jula has arrived in Jigjiga to attend the 47th Eastern command establishment day.
At the welcoming ceremony, the Somali region president Honorable Mustefe Mohammed and the senior leaders of the army and the region were present.
The 47th Eastern Order foundation day will be celebrated in different events until August 02.

Here is where you are wrong tarik I know you are trying to help but you are not helping we want Ethiopia to respect the sovereignty of Somalia . This means we can’t violate Ethiopia sovereignty. Our region the Somali region or the Ogaden region is a region occupied by Ethiopia that want self determination it’s not an extension of Somalia nor is this region part of Somalia I want to make this clear . Here is where we lost the narrative during the hey days of the Somali republic the Somali army should have never invaded that region in 1977. Somalia merely had to support the wslf movements. And wants they defeated Ethiopia demand a referendum on independence. I am not saying that the region will not eventually join Somalia that might be an option in the future but first we need independence and self determination as a people oppressed by the evil Ethiopia empire . You shabians should have helped us in 1991 when u defeated the derg instead u handed us over to ur agame cousins . Any way we shall defeat the gallas and cleanse them from our land .
