Hassen Sheikh and the US should by now know that they cannot defeat El-Shabab militarily. And, they cannot hold Somalia hostage because they do not want to negotiate with El-Shabab.
They should have sympathy, empathy for the long-suffering multitudes of the Somali people. They should have good heart towards the future of Somalia.
Hassen and his enablers should share power with El-Shabab. They should understand that El-Shaba loves Somalia, perhaps mote than they do.
Seat around a table and compromise on their manefestos, their philosophies and accept those acceptable to both and drop that can't be accepted by both. Core value to agree on for a 99% Islamic nation is Democratic Islam...elected parliament and president.
