Clown Abiy Ahmed's desire for seaport with a navy base at Berbera brought the sleeping issue of Somaliland independence to the family television rooms of the world. Its being discussed in the America's, Europe, Asia and Africa. The world knows now that Somaliland suffered enough, indeed more than enough.
1. It became indepedent on June 26, 1960, the UK and USA being among world nations sending messages of congratulations on its indepedence day.
2. It had rejected the Act of Union refrendum of 1961 but it was forced to endure a painful stay within the Somali Republic without its majority will.
3. War crimes and genocides were committed against Somaliland's civilian population between 1978-1991.
4. It fought an indendence war for 13 years between 1978-1991
5. It has lived as an indepedent country since 1991 within a defined border as the former British Protectorate with its own constitution, elected government, military, currency and functioning media.
Its time AU discuss the non-country status of Somaliland whereas it has satisfied all requirements for a legit status of a country.

So far 100 unmarked mass graves have been discovered in Somaliland. Mass murders and genocides committed by the genocidal regime of military junta Ziad Barre.
