THE HASSAN SHEIK -EGYPT AGREEMENT HAS ACTUALLY TRIGGERED A SPEEDY IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MOU. IN THE MEAN TIME DJIBOUTI DOESN'T WANT TURKEY'S MEDIATION AND HAS INITIATED ITS OWN SECRET MEDIATION BETWEEN SOMALIA AND ETHIOPIA. IT IS THE LAW OF PHYSICS THAT ONE EVENT CAUSES ANOTHER, THAT JUST LIKE A BILLIARD GAME, WHEN ONE PIECE IS HIT ANOTHER PIECE MOVES. ALSO SOMALIA IS GOING TO EXPEL DENMARK BECAUSE DENMARK CONSIDERS SOMALIA AND SOMALILAND AS DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. FOLLOW THE UNFOLDING DRAMA.

Why did Ethiopia allow itself to be manipulated by Turkey? Ethiopia shouldn’t have allowed Turkey to mediate between Somalia and Ethiopia. That is bad diplomacy.
If there is any mediation it should be between Somali Land and Somalia.
Somalians just don’t get it. Somali Landers had enough with Somalia. They will never get united with Somalia.
Somalia is trying to use Ethiopia to force Somali Land to accept unity. That will never happen.
The sooner Somalia recognizes this reality the better. They are making the same mistake as Ethiopia made in the 80s.
A rigid Africans mentality. Costly.
What people don’t understand is that SOMALI LAND is a functioning society. They figured it out 30 years ago right after the civil war. Thanks to Ethiopia, their economy is doing well Hargessa looks like another Ethiopian town, and Jijiga another Somali town. Ethiopian Birr, chat, fresh fruits and grains are everywhere in Hargessa. You can go by speaking Amharic. A fantastic atmosphere on both sides of the border. A model to the rest of Africa.
Djibouti has also doing well by using Ethiopia. It will have a similar role if it plays its cards smartly.
