Abiy's Dirty Plan to Keep TPLF Alive and Use to Invade Eritrea Has Back-fired Big time
Had meshrefet eradicated TPLF when he had the opportunity to do so, he would have been worshipped by his people and led his nation to greatness. But like all little people, he had little ideas, to keep TPLF and use them and the border issue to take Asab. Today, TPLF is spitting on his face. But more significantly, he has lost Eritrea's trust and friendship for good. Instead of greatness, he is faced with not only certain demise of his regime, but also the disintegration of his nation. His epitaph, "Here lies a small-time crook."

I agree for the most part but as the objective oromo I'll add a few points:
1. Regardless of how much you or any of us hate the tplf, you cannot use brute force to destroy an ideology, ideas, or a party that has significant support from its constituency.
If the tplf truly has significant support in the hearts and minds of millions of tigrayans, then no amount of military force can eradicate it.
2. Ethiopia being a poor country could not sustain the war financially nor was the endf competent enough.
When the tplf was initially a conventional force, it was easier, but when it reverted back to guerrilla warfare that had the backing of their locals it began to wear down the endf who found itself in hostile territory. Which is hardly conducive for a conventional force seeking to vanquish a guerrilla army.
