Honestly speaking ,the least important thing in the minds of Ethiopians is "access to ports".
In fact, most wonder why not improve relationship with Djibouti and continue using their port than entering into murky waters of Somalia.
Peace, security,Food,better services,etc are the urgent priorities of the public.
-Those who waffle about somalia ports and Returning Aseb port have mental health issues.
-Abiy Ahmed foray in Somaliland is all about pleasing the UAE which was kicked out of Djibouti port (DP world).It is not about the interest of Ethiopia.
- UAE doesn't want Ethiopia to use Djibouti nor
Asab port for that matter.
Any reasonable (sane) person can weigh the benefits and urgency before allowing others to use and abuse them.
