Due to repport Redwan Husen established with Isayas during his multiple contacts with the Eritrea's dictator about how to effect the Silte breakaway from Gurage, Abiy Ahmed found Redwan Husen the most acceptable person to Isayas and sent him to broker peace with Eritrea.
Redwan is dying in a hospital in Addis.
