Are the tplf remnants really the best brains/leaders that tigray has to offer? If so, that's beyond sad dude. They failed you guys for decades just as they failed when they were leading Ethiopia.
They did succeed at looting billions and gaining the enmity of many of tigrays neighbors.
I can understand why many tigrayans have a soft spot for tplf because it once led a successful struggle for liberation, but judging based on emotions instead of reason, logic, facts, etc, is dangerous. The truth is, tigray, like many other regions of Ethiopia needs new leaders elected based on merit not emotional sentiment, etc.

TPLF under Getachew Reda is doing what Ginbot-7 under Birhanu and Andargachew failed to do. That is working with OPDO in a hope of outsmarting Abiy and his co. It won't work. OPDO-PP knows it too well it goes into the play and checkmate you with its own surprise. The same way G7-Ezema ended up being a maid of OPDO-PP, TPLf is in that rout, if it is not already so

Miss rock, the tplf has no choice but to accept that it will only have power that is relative to its population size and state size in ethiopia. So if tigray is 8% of Ethiopia, it is only entitled to 8% of the power at the federal level. Opdo unfortunately represents Oromia and Oromos at the federal level, and Since Oromia's the biggest state, it will naturally have a larger share of power, with Amaras being a close 2nd. I personally think a loosely federated ethiopia may be better. A weak central govt. With more power to the states. Addis can be our shared capital where we all meet for matters of mutual interests. Let fano rule amara. Olf ofc rule oromia. If wishiye Axumezana wants tplf to mismanage tigray, let them do so and etc..

What I said was leave Tigrayans to choose their political leaders and the same should be true for all states. As far as your proposal on reconfiguring Ethiopia under the umbrella of loose Federal States agree with that ( actually I have proposed a hybrid of Confederated/ Federated States structure under one Ethiopia brand name).
