Eskinder is a good man but I don’t think he understands the grinder struggle of armed struggle. He is an advocate of peaceful struggle in the comfort of city life. His top adviser is Ermias Legesse. Let Eskinder help FANO in a way he can but not as a leader. No and No.
If he insists to be in charge and negotiate with Abiye the clown, then shot him.

Culturally, we are people that takes us time to disown once we liked despite so many evidences. This difficult behavior or psychological make up puts our people from danger to another danger.
When Abiy Ahmed was the darling of the people, he gave ample red flags. People with no corrupt mind went straight and spoke about it unapologetically. Our peoples unlearned behavior allowed Abiy Ahmed to consolidate power and get to where he is now.
When we speak about Eskinder, it was the same. He was already the darling. The media coverage he gets from Ethio-360 and his new association with G7-Ezema anti hara elements was evident. While many did not want tol listen, Gojjam FANO told us about Eskinder in a cryptic way. Again many failed to listen. He went to Shoa and pitched one against the other.. before Assegids debacle almost all major FANO regional leaders were at odds with this man. How is that all these people disagree with him what a question to ask.

Frankly speaking many of us who hate injustice supported and still support the Amhara movement to ensure their existence in that region and in the country wide free from the atrocities committed and continue to be committed. The first objective of this movement as any one expects is to ensure the rightful existence of Amhara people. That does not mean the other regions of the country feasting in peace or it is their happiness time. The whole nation is in the strife of ethnofascism. The rest of ethiopia lived with amhara people in peace for centuries and as they say the devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know. We had the unkown angel-looking abiy and his PP bunch who came with the most tricky idea of medemer and the smelly “Geda the democracy” culture which the public tended to accept mouth open with wow expression. Very soon it was clear he was the devil in flesh dramatizing superficially and killing covertly.
Now the Amhara/Fano movement is hoped to serve two objectives. One it will emancipate its region and ensure the peaceful existence of the Amhara people and spread elsewhere in the country as well as have a right to resources and development, free to be legitimately represented in politics. The second expected outcome was a spillover of their primary good objective by bringing change in the political landscape of the country in mess up. All this likely was not expected to be an overnight work to be achieved . Obviously it would take systematic organization, endurance, patience and a strong commitment. The expectation is and was for an ORGANIC leader to make a breakthrough and come out of the Fano group themselves, not something, sorry to say like Eskender or other diaspora spent force to come drop in like a fly and devide Fano in attempting to be a leader!
In conclusion, what happened was an emotional teachable moment but not everything is lost. Fano has to readjust some security breaches and move forward. After all Fano just accrued two generals quite recently.
