I do not believe Eritreans are lazy, as such. They are just too busy fending off Goliath Ethiopia. They are just 6 million people with limited land resources. Ethiopia's threat to their independence is a 24/7 obsession. Its economy also suffers from the US sanctions. There is a workforce loss by outmigration or exodus to all over the world in search of better fortunes.

Isayas pledged to himself to misrule that poor country until God calls him to depart his throne.They can't elect their rulers. They can't criticize their gov. They can't refuse military conscription. They can't refuse military service.

If relations with Ethiopia improve, Gurages will be willing to help Eritreans. They can teach them how to farm eucalyptus trees. It's a good cash crop as lumber, firewood and charcoal/coal. They can also teach them how to build Gurage style houses with eucalyptus trees that last over 20 years. They can also teach them how to dig for water boreholes in their backyards for animals and household use, instead of relying on seasonal rainfalls and rivers. They can also teach them how to farm coffee for cash and personal consumption in woinadega and qolla regions of Eritrea

The story of Gurage as narrated by the video is well-researched on available opinions on Gurage origins. If you look at the closeness of of the Gurage language dialects, you will conclude that they must have had a parent language known as Proto-Gurage. That's the parent language from which they distanced themselves. Reasons could be from geographic isolation due to settling away from the earlier center. It could also be due the absence of the force that used to unite them, resulting in less frequent contacts among themselves. Also greener pastures and better fortunes alienate groups from their original communities. Wars and displacements also create discouraging burdens on the victim population to reach out to its origins.

It could be that the military garrison that was stationed in Gura was relocated to our location in southwest Ethiopia and named their new location Gura, which is a large region in 7bet Gurage. I don't think they first landed in Aymelle. They would have named it Gura in memory their former garrison, Gura, Now in Eritrea, if they first landed in Sodo.

Cautiously analyze and filter information ( if you are Gurage as you claimed) coming from land of cactus and stones, historically they do spread or chronicle false things as well. You do not need to go far,"Ye'Burqaw Zimita" was chronicled by an ordinary Ascari, known as Tesfaye-Gebre Ebab.
