I Think Eritreans Should Make Cycling our National (and cultural) Sport.
Agames made war their cultural sport and lost a million dead in 2 years. It was a very moronic idea. But making a real sport like cycling your national and cultural sport, specially when you are good at it, is a wise decision. Ethiopians, for example, excel in long-distance running. Why not develop it consciously and make track and field their national sport. Kenyans have also made great victories in running. The sport where Eritreans have excelled is cycling. We have been Africa champions for more than a decade now. And now we are spreading outside Africa. It is thus no brainer to make cycling our cultural sport! In fact, it is almost inevitable now! But I worry about our Agame neighbours. If Bini can devastate their pysche this way, what will happen when Eritreans keep winning trophies as a matter of routine!

Basketball's outstanding skills are joining the Eritrean team, let's not concentrate exclusively on cycling. I understand that ሰንዓፈ is known for its cycling talent, but we need to embrace inclusivity.

almaze Agame,
Now that we have seen that war is definitely not your cultural sport, what do you say is the Agame national sport. You would certainly be world champions in begging, prostituting and theft.
