A public peace conference has been held in Amhara region cities and different areas.

In Amhara region, cities and different zones, a peace conference has been held in which different sections of the society participated in peace with the theme "Peace for all, all for peace".
In Dessie city a 5 kilometer running competition was held under the slogan "Peace for all, all for peace".
Residents of Debre Birhan have discussed about peace in their area. The participants said that a discussion is necessary to bring back the unrest in the area for the past months. They have stated that the conflict has led to loss of life and property.
The residents have asked armed forces to come forward for discussion for the sake of their people's peace.
Similarly, the discussion stage that was held in Kombolcha city administration indicates that the community needs to cooperate in order to maintain the peace.
In Dessie city, a street running competition with the title "peace for all, all for peace" has been said to enable citizens to stand guard for peace and the street running competition is a great benefit to strengthen peace and unity and to strengthen the unity of the people.
AMICO reported that there was a discussion on current peace and order issues in central Gondar zone.
