And the Jury is .... guess who?

Post by DefendTheTruth » 30 Jun 2024, 04:19

The formidable South Nations & Nationalities, with all the remaining so called periphery communities.

Ethiopia's current ills emanate mainly from the two numerical major Ethnic groups, namely Amhara and Oromo. Tigray's role has diminished to its true level of a minority. Tigray trying to control the central power authority will be a distant dream for the near-future in the course of Ethiopia's history. It has to wait for some times.

The major fight will be, in the mean time, between those claiming to represent the Oromos and those trying to act in the name of the Amharas. Mind you I said the fight not without a reason.

The more crucial role of deciding about who will come to power at the end will be taken by the formidable South, like the recent Amhara so called revolution has shown us.

If the South decided to side with that ill-fated revolution, then Oromo would have been thrown out of the Menelik Palace by now long time ago. It must be stated now the Oromos in Menelik palace excelled in trying to rally the South on their side instead of joining in the mainly conspiracy and propaganda fueled Monastery based Amhara revolution.

The South asked about for what should I join your revolution while those currently in the Menelik Palace made every effort to make their rule palatable to the ultimate jury, the South. This in turn was made to enjoy the true meaning of self-rule and given due leverage in managing their own affairs on their own, locally. That alone made them for now to take the side of those enablers instead of the old-guards trying to take a shield behind Ethiopian unity but nothing else. South is deeply Ethiopianist, but a mere song to that tune is no more sufficient to win them over to your side.

If the South decided, like the Monastery revolution hoped, to take its side, then the "giant Oromo" rule would have been the thing of the past by now.

In addition to taking the Monastery as its true base the Amhara revolution has also heavily invested in the massive propaganda venture and that front too is sliding slowly but surely out of their sole control. Many are coming to the scene and challenging their sole monopoly on the field. This rising new comer to the propaganda front has also helped much in resisting the onslaught of the Amhara revolution in this respect.

All in all Ethiopia will be ruled by those who can win over the South to their sides. And the South too has its own interests and getting more and more vocal in demanding the protection of its own interest!

no its because the south are not interested in wars and also Abiy intentionally doesn't see southerners or somalis or afars as a threat therefore his military campaigns are only made in Oromia, Amhara and Tigray. This is because of political failures

It's supposed to be referred to Southwest Ethiopia. It has forever been referred to as Southwest Ethiopia until TPLF renamed it South. Inaccurate geographically.

There are a number of relatively smaller nations in Southwest, nonetgeless distinct nations in their owns satisfying all the parameters that define the larger nations such as Amara, Oromo and Tigrey, each with its own history, cultural(way of life), language and political institutions. Each of them are larger in population than Gambella, Harar or BeniShangul. Yet, they are denied their own autonomous region hood in stark contrast to the above.

They have been genocides, maimed, jailed and development funds withheld just because they demanded autonomous states of their own. As we speak, there are hundreds of Southwestern activities languishing in prisons with/without charges. Those that are charged are on trumped charges.

Southwest Ethiopia has always support ideas and organizations of good will to Ethiopia.

They have been betrayed by politicians many times. Used and dumped. Their attitude of trust is shrinking. Nearly there to kick [deleted] of Oromo, Amara, Tigrey mascaraders in the name of mama Ethiopia. They should come up with new appealing names than OLF, Fano and TPL.

getting more and more vocal in demanding the protection of its own interest. Exhibit A (third rate propaganda)

Mr. Defend the Lie, do you think there is any Ethiopian who cannot see through your third-rate Fanna propaganda? If there is any region that has been battered by Abiy and Shemiles' expansionist policies, it is none other than the so-called Southern Nations and Nationalities.

After 27 years of heavy taxation on southern Ethiopians to build Awasa as their capital, they were forced to leave without compensation due to the concerted efforts of Shimeles, Jawar, and Abiy at the helm, using Abdula Gemeda as the midwife .

Southern Ethiopians have never experienced such unfair treatment from their fellow Ethiopians, except during the Oromo expansion of the 16th century. The underestimation of Ethiopians' intellect, whether it be about the south or other regions, made the Weyanes a thing of the past. Evidenced by Oromuma defenders of lies and the clumsiness with which Abiy and Shimeles ran the country, one would be spot on to predict that the same downfall will repeat itself in less than a decade, just as it happened to the Weyanes. If you consider a handful of southerners dining in 4 Killo and clapping enthusiastically for every nonsense Abiy utters as solid support for him, you would be justified to think like a six-year-old. The same scenario played out until the end of the Weyane regime. Forced ululation is never true support. Live long, and you will see the truth.
