Eritrea fails to strike investment deal with China

Post by AbyssiniaLady » 20 May 2023, 10:36

But it's not President Isaias Afwerki fault, In fact, the President did his best.

President Xi Jinping was explicitly asked to invest in Eritrea but Xi Jinping immediately brushed off Isaias Afwerki pleas for investment in Eritrea.

Two days later, President Isaias Afwerki was filmed behaving like a child.

Eden the agame hoe, why do you love to be irritated and get frustrated by following Eritrea’s things? Why don’t you just forget Eritrea as you always say that it is not an important country?
We been living like a sh’it hole country like most of the rest of the African countries not of our making but by your masters hate and fear that the rest of the baboon nations don’t learn from Eritrea. So if your dream is to be materialize, we are not going to change our principle.
But let’s say PIA’s visit to China and China invests in Eritrea heavily (we don’t even want heavy investment…..that is what is killing you) are you then going to swallow your puke as you usually do?
Stop fighting with your own self. You might bang yourself.
Forget Eritrea exists for your sanity.

Due to the rising labor costs in China, it's in search of low-wage countries to relocate its manufacturing factories; thus, all Eritrea might get is semi-slavery industrial parks for China to exploit Eritreans and pay them $26 a month as they do in Ethiopia, in exchange Eritrea might get a couple of roads built, even though the number of cars in all Eritrea can fit a small carpark and a very few of them are fit to travel a relatively long distance.

The fanfare is one thing and the reality is another things, I'm afraid.

Well, the alcoholic irrelevant President Isaias Afwerki has already visited China and failed to strike investment agreement with President Xi Jinping because the purpose of China's investment in Africa is to obtain natural resources and seek new export markets for its goods, Eritrea, A former tiny province of Ethiopia that won a 30-year war for independence has neither the resources nor the markets for Chinese products.

China has no economic interests in Eritrea, however, it is worth noting that China has important strategic interests in the Red Sea.

China is using Eritrea to send a message to the stone head Abiye Ahmed Ali.
The Chinese will stay away from the unstable Eritrea and focus on the biggest market Ethiopia.

Study after study shows Eritrea is a time bomb in waiting to ignite. The entire population have been in war footing in all 30 years of their existence. And they have proved to the world time and again that they cannot survive without Ethiopia.
That is one part. What about the Afars, the broken family of Afars and their land that has been used to blackmail Ethiopia. The land annexed by Tigrigna speaking Christian’s is a crime of a century and it will be swiftly undone when the time is right.

Today all working age Eritreans are either out of the country or are trying hard to leave.

Yes, Eritrea is definitely a ticking time bomb waiting to explode but China is using Eritrea to send a message to Abiy Ahmed Ali doesn't really make sense, Ethiopia is more important to China’s long-term interests in Africa than Eritrea.

What can Eritrea offer to other countries or South Korea? Nothing.
