People who live with handgun owners are more than twice as likely to die of homicide. International research has also proven that greater levels of gun ownership are closely associated with higher rates of gun violence. It's not rocket science that civilized countries like Eritrea that ban gun ownership have the lowest murder and violent crime rates in the world.
