ድሮ ብዙዉን ጊዜ ለድርቅ ና ተያይዞ በምመጠዉ ረሃብ ስጠቁ የነበሩት የሶማሊያ (ኦጋዴን) ክልል ና የአፋር ክልሎች ነበሩ፣ አሁን እነዚህ ትርፍ ማምረት ስችሉ፣ የአገሪቱ የዳቦ ቅርጫት የነበረዉ የአማራ ክልል በረሃብ ተወጥሮ ይገኛል። አማራ ክልል ለም ከምባሉ ክልሎች ምናልባት ዋነኛዉ ልሆን ይችላል። ለሙም ምድር ከልተሰራ ተመልሶ ጠፍ ይሆናል፣ ረሃብ ይከተላል።
