I partially agree. The thing is this: Eritrea and Fano forces got involved for their OWN interests, which HAPPENED to coincide with the interests of the govt of PM Abiy.
Eritrea, got involved for their own security interests and perhaps, secondly, for some revenge against a foe who strove to destroy Eritrea, and if it failed to do so; tried hard to weaken it, isolate it, etc.

I wish it was true but like I said many times in this forum, Amhara are like the red indian tribes, they need a strong leader who could invoke bravery and inspire them to do the unthinkable, the downside of having all your faith in the so called leader is, once he is bought by his adversary like we have witnessed during the last 30 years, or he is neutralized by one means or the other, amhara becomes blind and they don't have any idea which direction they are going to take.

Another reason amhara are more noise and more zeraf zeraf than deeds is, , They lack narrative, they lack "artists" in literature, poems or lyrics which could convey the inner feeling of amhara. for instance. Where are the artists who could convery the ordeal of amhara citizens who fell victim just because they were amhara both during the last 30 years and now? there is no none. Your so called artist, to this day, either they are still singing about the bravery of Hatsey Fasil of Gonder, or Hatsey Tedros or Menelik in invoke some sense of patriotism among their people or they are singing about How Belaynesh dumped their arse and they can't take it any more and they are going to commit suicide.

Third reason is, Amhara are egoistic who only think about themselves and who don't give a damn about the collective. I have not yet mastered to command the Somali language to know the meaning of "Ciirtaada dhamaa caydaada yaqaan". I tried to translate it trough google but it gave me incoherent meaning which doesn't make any relevance.
