The last thing I would become is more Ethiopian than Ethiopians themselves. Ethiopians and their country are both historical enemies of Somalia and they remain as such to date. therefore, I cannot become an enemy to myself.

When it comes to Eritreans, it's quite different. I've always supported Eritrea and its people, and I've never fabricated any bad stuff whatsoever about them, including their president, or about Eritrea.

As many of the forum users, if not all of them, would recall, in the not-so-distant past, I extensively addressed Afwerki's failure to meet certain expectations and standards from a number of angles. Whatever I pointed out manifestly reflected the reality in the country and/or his rule, and I believe he wouldn't deny them deep down himself. But this doesn't necessarily mean that I'm someone who's intrinsically a critic to him and who's only interested in finding faults with him unfairly. I wish I could meet him and tell him such a failure and any praise that he deserves in face, indeed.

I equally give him his due, as I believe that he's better than most of African heads of state, including the fuc.kers that have been replacing each other in Somalia since the collapse of the central government led by Siad Barre.

Needless to remind that not only have Eritrea and Somalia both a common enemy next door, but also, there's a historical solidarity, which still remains alive, between Eritreans and Somalis.
