The reality is eritreans, somalis and Ethiopians colloquially known as horners are literally the worst people on earth when it comes to nation building. So pride in being the most productive producers of refugees is lame.

You have to differentiate between the empty pride of Ethiopians and Tigryans who revel in their 3000 or 5000 thousand year history and the pride of Eritreans in their ability and determination to rely on no one but themselves. There is a world of difference between the two prides. One is stuck in the mythology of the past while the other is about building a better future. Our problem is our neighbors want to drag us back to their past!
