Somalia welcomed you personally with open arms, provided you with money, free housing, health care, education at university and, most of all, treated you not as a second class citizen, but even better than the Somalis themselves, as Siad Barre used to have an enormous sympathy for you filthy Galla. He used to not even call you Galla or Oromo but Somali Obbo, saying that you were 'lost Somalis'.

You lived in Somalia for over twenty years, living a relatively good life without facing any discrimination whatsoever, while you escaped your hopeless poverty-ridden Ethiopia and made life in Somalia. Later, Somalia managed to secure a refugee status in the US for you, through Tarrax, as a refugee from Ogaden, even though you were such a dirty Galla and not from Ogaden and were already settled in Somalia. But Tarrax did everything for you and made it up for you as a refugee from Ogaden, and finally you ended up in the US from where you're scribbling your crap, which I doubt many people bother to read.

After all Somalia did for your dirty ar.se, not only do you dare to tell me to show wisdom and take it easy while your morally bankrupt clown is trying to misappropriate my ancestral land, but also, you open your filthy mouth and dare to call Siad Barre names, without even wondering what you would be today in your late 70s, had Siad Barre never been president in Somalia. The liberation of the ancient vassal state of the pharaohs has begun at 16:00 hours this afternoon. The liberation is headed by the indomitable 205th mechanized corps based on island 200 miles west of Socotra. Egypt, as expected, has jumped on the bandwagon condemning the MOU between Somaliland and Ethiopia. That means the door in Al-Qahirah is officially wide open for these bigoted armed savage group to go there and scavenge at the dumpsites there for arms, training and bags of bread crumbs. Egypt will never let up in its interfering in Ethiopia's internal affairs until Ethiopia is wiped off the map of the earth and its people expunged from the area; gone for good. The thing is Brother President Isaias knew this ambition of Egypt the day he took to the bushes. He did not spare a word talking about that in one of his press interviews a few years ago. To me that is maturity worth a commendation. That is my personal and independent opinion. Now some of you may jump on me for praising Brother President Isaias and try to tell me he did this and that. As I have said umpteen times before what is going on inside Eritrea is my Eritrean brothers and sisters' business. Not mine. If you ask me to say a word or two about that I will ask you to tell me who won the 1942 and 1946 World Cups.

Now having said that I call upon my Somali brothers and sisters to stand above the fray and engage in a calm and collected dialogue with brothers and sisters in Somaliland and Ethiopia. I am behind you 100% about the inviolable rights to your sovereignty without losing the respect for the hard fought aspiration to those in Somaliland. I also strongly believe that you have the intellectual horsepower to sort things out among yourselves. That is because I know you close and personal my entire life. War is not the option but peaceful coexistence should be the way forward. Level heads will prevail. Insha'Allah!!!

My relatives in the capital are now getting a few reports of refugees especially with Oromo ethnicity who are now living in various part of Somalia are being roughed up and manhandled. That is because citizens are reading polemic comments that allege the MOU is a grand scheme by ‘Oromo’ nationalists to appropriate Somali territory including its seashores. I can see that myself from the comments by a handful hateful individuals posting on various websites. These refugees became refugees at no fault of their own. They fled natural disasters and violent internal conflicts. They wanted to go somewhere where they can be safe and find work so they can somehow support their families. They have nothing to do with the MOU. This accusation of PM Abiy not as an official but an Oromo is putting innocent Oromos in Somalia in grave danger. That was and is why attacking someone as an ethnic individual never sits well with me. I had warned those who coined ‘Neftegna’ as an enemy number#1 when I I discovered it way back in the 1970’s. I cautioned those who began using it in their propaganda that such wholesale allegations could lead to victimization of innocent individuals/citizens. Sadly my fear was proven legit in the early 1990’s.
This is not the first time innocent Oromos just like innocent Amharas were brutalized. In the early 1990’s when violent fracas broke out in the city of Dire Dawa inflammatory and unsubstantiated news reached Djibouti. That many Somalis were massacred by Oromos in Dire Dawa. Angry mob descended upon innocent and defenseless Oromo refugees in Djibouti where many lost their lives. It was nights and days of long knives. That was because someone gripped with deep seated hatred concocted that inciting news and spewed it around. The same might happen to innocent refugees now. I will be holding those who are attaching this MOU to an Oromo individual/official. The fact is this decision to pursue an MOU is not something decided by an individual or one Oromo. There are Amharas, Somalis, Afars, Gurages, Tigre’s, Sidamas and others with various ethnic groups who pushed for it. Not to mention 547 representatives in the parliament who are not all Oromos.
Again, I will be holding those of you who portray this MOU as an exclusively Oromo grand scheme for any harm done to innocent refugees. You must ashamed of yourselves.

Please remember something here. That enraged Somali young man does not walk around with a magic magnifying glass to single out Oromos among refugees during his rampage. Most of the refugees are Oromos but not all of them. The attacks on Ethiopian refugees is said to have taken place both in Somalia and Somaliland itself. I call upon the leaders of both Somalia and Somaliland to protect the refugees in their countries. Doing harm to refugees is against the Geneva Conventions and Somalia is a signatory of those binding international laws. It is a crime against humanity. You need to deploy your security personnel and protect the innocent refugees in your jurisdictions. Also you have to come out and condemn such cruel behavior.

AU headquarter must be relocated to a different country and I have two best options. It will make great sense if it is moved to Asmara or Mogadishu. Why? Because first and foremost moving is very expensive these days. Moving companies charge you arms and legs. The 2nd reason is those two cities have plenty of buildings that can easily accommodate AU's facility needs. They can find building already tooled up so easily and that saves a pile of chi-chi's. During all this commotion after the MOU was announced, my long held conviction in regards to sovereignty of countries has never changed including the right of a group of people to have and live in democratic governance, peace and stability. Where my conviction becomes shaky is when such country/group of people are told or forced to abandon their hard fought democratic way of life and be taken over by despots or those in disarray. One perfect example is Taiwan. I knew Taiwan when it was under the clutches of a dictator and also had seen it doing away despotism beginning the early 1980's. It has more than 4 decades of democratic governance now and it should never be forced to live under the clutches of those goons in Beijing. Somaliland situation has similarities with Taiwan but with a caveat. If the rest of Somalia becomes democratic, peaceful and stable then the need to going it alone for Somaliland would be a moot point, immaterial. I don't think the people of Somaliland would entertain independence if everyone around them is living in the same democratic system. For now, Brother Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has a lot to do on his plate. I wish him nothing but success in his blessed endeavor to bring peace, stability and democratic governance to his beleaguered citizens. Insha'Allah!!!

I just discovered that 1+1=2 is not right. It may be correct but it may not be right. Wait a minute! I think I got it in reverse. It should have been 1+1=, just forget all about it!!!. It may be true though but.. I said forget all about it!!! That my first math teacher had it all wrong, not correct or not true. He even had the audacity to tell us that the numeral ‘0’ has no value! May he rest in peace since he was gone a long time ago but if he was still alive I would have taken him to court for teaching us that. What a nerve!!!
