A seeming misfortune that turns out to be for the best.
Sometimes I tend to believe in the saying blessing in disguise. What Ethiopia is doing to the Somalians is illegal and disrespecting the integrity of Somalian territorial sovereignty, However, this could be a blessing for the people of Somalians. The curse in the people of Somalia is the division of the people within their war lords. Now, this Ethiopian thing could bring the people to one. Even All Shebab is in the mix to defend their country. As of now, although Somalian army is weak, but I believe they can defeat Ethiopian army. Ethiopian defense forces are not only divided but weak and suffering from elongated war. If indeed Ethiopia went with its planned novel base in Somalian land, it will create the perfect situation for Egypt to weaken and destroy Ethiopia.

You're absolutely right.
Re: A seeming misfortune that turns out to be for the best.
Even given the current situation, no one can beat Ethiopia in the HoA. You guys are under estimating on your own risk. Just one province of Ethiopia alone can knock out Somalia.
Re: A seeming misfortune that turns out to be for the best.
That is not true. the truth is the Ethiopian army can't defeat Amara peasants with simple gun. the truth is the Ethiopian army can't defeat a killil army such TPLF. If it wasn't for Eritrean involvement, right now TPLF would have been sitting in Addis and 4-kilo. the truth.

Ato Abere has forgotten that the little TPLF with little heavy weapons had chased out the PeePee soldiers all the way to Debre Birhan when Shaebia sat and watched without participating. The the situation was only reversed not because the drama lover PM went to the “front” and reversed the war situation, TPLF was ordered by its master the US, to return back to its mini kilil or else they would charge their leaders with genocide. The Ethiopian army is a joke and the entire world knows that. In every front, when they hear a gun fire, they leave their guns behind and flee. Thanks to Shaebia and Fano, on the third war at the end, the situation was completely resembling and TPLF was put in a cage again.

I don’t think there’ll be war but for politics
This is win win for both Ethiopian and Somalia governments
1. Abiy got Ethiopian united, just look at Abere or Horus here, few weeks back he was anti Abiy regime and now he’s nationalist behind abiys port grab
2. Somalis has never been so united
For the benefit of both governments, both sides should beat the war drum for political advantage to unite their fellow countrymen, but in reality there shouldn’t be any war, because war will just benefit Egypt
Smart move by the Eritrean government to stay silent and neutral… silence is golden… tplf is still a limping almost dead threat… no need to deviate from the real threat
