Transportation is all about distance and Tigray is the farthest periphery territory… tigreas because of their idiotic hate for Eritrea that they pushed themselves out of the center of Ethiopia to a corner and irrelevancy region…
The Somali region became the center and important region with the Somaliland port deal…
The only way Tigray can be relevant in Ethiopian politics, the port of Massawa has to open to Ethiopia and that will make Tigray center and relevant again
I can only imagine if 50% of Ethiopian imports come through Massawa port and passes through Tigray, Tigray would be the high value real estate at the heart of the action — tigreas were blind by hate of their Eritrean and amara neighbors and couldn’t think pass their nose when they were in power… too late now?
Just food for thought for the tigreas who continue to shoot themselves in the foot ( they think they are hurting Eritrea but they are hurting themselves more, because Eritrea has other options but Tigray is irrelevant without the Massawa Addis corridor
