The European Union didn't take time to reject the daydreaming of the Ethiopian clown as worthless.
And guess what, it doesn't even say in its statement that Ethiopia signed the MoU, but Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
On 1 January, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi signed a Memorandum of Understanding on granting Ethiopia access to the sea.
The European Union would like to remind the importance of respecting the unity, the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia pursuant of its constitution, the Charters of the African Union and the United Nations. This is key for the peace and stability of the entire Horn of Africa region.

Due to incompetent leadership, Ethiopia is currently experiencing an economic calamity. On December 2023, it missed the only installment payment due on its foreign government bond, which is expected to have a major negative effect on its credit rating.
With an inflation rate of 33.94%, the nation's total debt today stands at 63.35 billion US dollars.
The only thing at fault is the civil war Abiy Ahmed has been waging to strengthen his position for the past three years. Ethiopia has a large population of destitute people due to uncontrollable factors.
This phony entity is on its way out, let alone being a menace to Somalia. What these cyber jegna don't comprehend is that Zayla city is owned by truly patriotic Somalis who will stay and protect this great place for the rest of their lives. Ethiopia will remain landlocked till the sun rises in the west. As someone who was born and grew in this faketopia, our devotion is to Somalia.
