Why are Abiy and Berhanu Jula frustrated and angry?

Post by temari » 19 Dec 2023, 17:32

And why is the government airing interviews of all of its 3 top generals and why is it bambarding the airwaves with military parades and military shows?

My take is that the government is extremely worried that the war in Amhara region is nearing a very critical point in the next weeks and months. The two main factors for this anxiety in my view is the huge human cost the army is paying in this war coupled with the thousands of defecting soldiers. Some sources are also revealing the extreme hardship the government is facing in finding new recruits as the image of the army is extremely damaged. This bottleneck has forced the government to heavy shift its operations to the air and highly minimize its ground operation.

In my view there’s another crucial and urgent fact that extremely worries the government, i.e. the coming of the end of the harvest season in the Amhara region. All the above lose is due to direct combats and daily ambush attacks in a time when many farmers are busy collecting their harvest and many fano fighters are also helping the farmers. Imagine how the attacks on ENDF could escalate once the harvest season is over starting january. All those who are busy in collecting their harvest will focus on attacking ENDF and it will be very hard for the ENDF to sustain the coming assault due to the huge number of fighters fighting on Fano’s side.

My assumption is that the government most likely will be forced to bring back all of its forces that are currently abroad in peace keeping missions and directly send them to the Amhara region. We have already seen the first batch directly being sent to the region.

The main reason for the absurd exaggeration about the capabilities of the army and the UAE air show is to polish the damaged image of the army thereby help get more young recruits. Besides, it’s also a propaganda for PeePee internal consumption.

One thing is clear by now, Abiy and Berhan Jula are extremely frustrated, angry and anxious about the war in the Amhara region and what would be coming after the end of the harvest season. It looks like a huge humiliation is at the corner and they are sensing it.

Temari you nailed it. I agree with you. If so, how is even remotely possible that Abiy to attack Eritrea. Do you believe Abiy has the capability or the economy to carry such a war. If the answer is no, why he openly declared war with Eritrea?

Abiy is a psychopath and narcissist. I’m very convinced that he is mentally unstable and has lost the sense to reality. Currently he has zero chance of starting a war with Eritrea but never underestimate his unstable mental health. He will start war against Eritrea the moment he gets a break from internal conflicts. Because of his narcissistic mental disorder he truly believes he will be the one chosen that will make Ethiopia a naval country. This kind of grandiose self deception is one of the indicators of his mental health issues. That’s also the reason almost no one understands him because he is out of his mind and in unstable mental condition.

The one good thing about Abiy is that his mental issue is accelerating his demise as he is unable to follow logic and do the right thing to save himself.

Temari, again I agree with you. However; I do understand that all leaders have some form of narcissist tendency. But this guy is have the worst form of narcissism I have had ever observed. From what I can gather is, Abiy thinks this fight is about Amara and Oromo. Not about the well being Ethiopia. And that makes it dangerous. In his sick mind, once he crushed the Tigriyans, the next competitor was Amara to his supremacy therefor Amara has to be crushed. He thought he will accomplish in a few days but it turns out to a nightmare and the brave Amara forces are about to put him not only out of power but burry him once for ever. There are reports that the UAE are training about 40 Ugandan's to be the body guard of Abiy very soon. The narcissist Abiy is losing hope in his own body guards. This will tell you the whole story and the state mind of this person. In your opinion, do you think the Eritreans are supporting FANO? I am just curious, how FANO progressing the discipline they are displaying. I have no evidence but I am suspicious that the Eritreans may have some kind of involvement. Although Amara needs nothing from any one, they have a just cause. However, Isaias is very revengeful leader, he will not rest until Abiy is gone. What is your take.

Zemen, apart from sympathy and understanding for the cause of Fano from Eritrean government cadres, no one has presented a slightest evidence until today that Eritrea is actively supporting Fano. But that doesn’t mean there’s no contacts or that the current state stays forever but we should not rush to conclusions before a tangible evidence is presented.

It is well-know that fear and nervousness make people talk excessively. This is what Google says!
Anxiety disorders: Anxiety can cause someone to speak excessively. While many with social anxiety may avoid social interactions, some may inadvertently talk excessively when in social situations out of nervousness and anxiety.

The TPLF raised PP kids are indeed very scared. They know that they blew it just as their foster parents have done. "Like father like son" ይባል የለ.
