That is surprising for people like Martin Plaut known for telling numerous lies, and for once speaking the truth! Wow! That is perplexing. But again, that is not any different than what the US, EU, and their shadow, Britain, all of a sudden, remember about the injustice they have committed against Eritrea.

He is telling the truth now because it has finally dawned on him that it was the refusal to honor the final and binding agreement that has destroyed Agameland.

Yeah...I agree with you both Temt and Sesame. But, the reason may also be to even out the balance of lies and truths in order to improve their chances of deceiving people in their next deception attempt to reach their goals.

As far as we Eritreans are concerned, the border issue has long been resolved by the border commission's Final and Binding decision that awarded the disputed territories to Eritrea. Up until the TPLF's final demise, the issue at hand was the illegal occupation of our Eritrean territories by the Tigray mercenary force hired to destabilize the Horn of Africa region.
Our call for the unconditional withdrawal of Tigray mercenary forces from our sovereign territories were ignored by the so-called signatories, for their aim in ordering the invasion of Eritrea in the first place was to keep Eritrea in perpetual conflict.
But we refused to play into their hands by creating one of the best trained, disciplined and pound-for-pound the most powerful military force in the world that served as a deterrence while we, slowly but surely, dismantled Tigray's house of cards to restore our sovereign territories.
The so-called signatories have recently been issuing statements about the 23rd anniversary of the Algiers agreement in their vile attempts to drag us back to the bygone era. They want to assure us that the 23 year long illegal occupation, illegal sanctions, and numerous covert and overt plots to destabilize our nation, were all done for our own good, which we must appreciate and be thankful for.
A little critical thinking goes a long way.

Agames did create an employment opportunity for many vagrant ferenjis......Now, with the death of the Adwa vultures, the flow of blood money has dried up. Hence looking for another capo.....by displaying some of his hidden skills- for instance, telling the truth.
I hate unpredictability. In a clip I watched recently, Agames were shouting on top of their lungs 'affirming' Eritrea's ownership of the two Red Sea ports. That, my friend, gave me the heebie-jeebies.......Now this parasite is telling the truth.....Like I said, I like predictability. Things are easier for me when they behave in their usual way.

When Martin Plaut was working as a reporter for the BBC, he uncovered the TPLF's deliberate starvation of the Tigray people which caused over a million agame deaths, when they sold the international food-aid obtained by Live-Aid concerts and used the money to buy weapons in the Sudan. But before he published the story on the BBC, Martin Plaut tried to blackmail the TPLF by demanding millions of dollars in hush money in exchange for non disclosure, but his offer was outright rejected by the TPLF thinking he didn't have anything on them. WRONG!
But after the white supremacist Martin Plaut blasted the shocking news on BBC, it didn't take long for the agame to arrive at his doorsteps with a suitcase full of money seeking his help to do damage control. The agame's idea of damage control was however to hire the white supremacist to manufacture lies and disinformation about Eritrea, which their inferiority complexed low IQ TPLF cadres would disseminate on social media hoping to deflect attention from themselves.
