Issayas is Loved by Eri Muslims as We Speak... Why?

Post by kerenite » 09 Dec 2023, 18:35

I am posting this from my community club. Is it a bar? perhaps.

Back to the topic of the thread. I have encountered many eri-muslims, I noticed most of them nowadays love issayas and they even added that even if Abraham (his son) takes over power after the death of issayas they will stand with him.

The eri-muslims whom I encountered range from main eri ethnic groups to the minorities.

Most of them say, economically we are not in good shape but we have a peaceful country, any one can walk at 1.00 AM or 2 AM in the street or drive from Asmara to Massawa or elsewhere without fear. Whereas in neighbor ethiopia, you can't walk freely after 9:00 PM.

Wow, this is what I hear from them. Am I convinced? That's another question.

The reason the silent majority puts up with such mediocre dictator is the other option is just as bad or could even be worse.

A big majority of opposition wastes time on useless and divisive narratives.

Agamite,

Eritreans love Esu because he is a genius, he loves Eritrea, he made self-reliance an Eritrean religion, and because he fuuuuucked good the dirty Agames.

Eritrea is a oasis of peace in a very violent region. The peaceful coexistence of five major ethnics in one city, Keren, is the am example. Girls walking down the main avenue holding hands, all from various ethnic backgrounds is a common seen in Keren as well as in all Eritrean cities and towns. No ethnic jokes that degrade one ethnic over another in Eritrea allowed or ever entertained by citizens. How many degrading jokes do we know about Gurages, the Oromos or even the Welleye Amaras and so on? Moreover, in Eritrea, is a common practice to partake Christian or Muslim holidays and get invited to a friend or a neighbor who happens to be a different religion than yours during a religious holidays. Last, personal security and peace in the country unparalleled anywhere in Africa or in most western cities. There were many times I walked home from Expo compound after parting back to the opposite side of Asmara after 2 am b/c couldn’t find a taxi at that time and never felt unsafe nore threaten by drunken local boys who were also heading to their respective homes. I wouldn’t try that that in Addis even at 8p; it would also be a suicide trying that in Mekele. Nonetheless, a price was paid by our people to have this privilege. Having building shiny high-rises with Chinese load didn’t make Addis or Nairobi safe for its citizens; I rather leave in peace in my own clean villa Asmara than in a shiny new building African cities where my personal safety isn’t guaranteed.

Muslims love Issu because he’s doing their agenda
A million plus Christian Eritrans left Eritra in the last 20 years
Asmara used to be Muslim minority, not anymore and Sudanese are immigranting in huge numbers and Christian are still running out of the country in huge numbers

The next leader of Eritra will be a Muslim and Eritra will be islamic republic thanks for Issu’s policies, so Issu will remain a hero for making Arabic national language country… issu is atheist communist but he tilts more a Muslim than Christian
All this supporters in diaspora are going to get old as refugees and die in diaspora with their kids not returning

This movie happened in Lebanon of 1960-1980… and it’s happening in eritra again but Ethiopia is not going to allow that and PM abiy’s policy is right on time and going to save Eritra from becoming Arab state and remain part of the motherland Ethiopia
