The 88th anniversary of the FDRE air force is being celebrated by the name of the Ethiopian air force that sacrificed the country.
The institution is celebrating its 88th anniversary with different programs starting from Edar 20 and it has been mentioned that there will be a program where 26 African countries air force commanders and aviation companies will participate.
Today also the minister of government communication service DIETA Mrs. Selamawit Kassa, the director of defense public relations Colonel Getnet Adane and other media professionals have visited.
During the visit, they saw the air force flight zone, the newly built stadium, and the drone.
A military jet, helicopter and Antonoff plane showed an air show for the Gobishas called "Black Lion".
Lieutenant General Yilma Meredassa stated that the purpose of the visit is to make the air force an air force suitable for Ethiopia with manpower and armed combat infrastructure and to inform the level of technology it has reached.
Air Force has said that it has done many heroic deeds and is still working to create a reliable Air Force by modernizing itself with manpower and technology.
