He is under a total panic, the ground under his feet is just shaking, so no mood or air to say something.

Isaias knows what Eritreans in particular and the African and international community leaders think about his investment that has proved to be money thrown down the drain. He sacrificed 10s of thousands of soldiers out of a population of 2 million to strengthen a regime that's preparing to invade him and remove him from power. Isaias knows the count down to the end of his rule has already began. No amount of regret can change the past and no amount of anxiety can change the future.

Imagine if Isaias was answerable to anyone, like a parliament. Imagine if he has to account for his policies. Imagine if there was any gimgema ግምገማ in Eritrea. He is not silent, you just can't hear him. He tries to be loud and clear: bring Ethiopia on its kneels. He just announced a debilitating economic sanction on Ethiopia, with an immediate effect.

The answer to this is simple. First, scan the total political environment in the region. Who is now noisy and who is silent? When will that silence be broken?

--- So far, only Abiy Ahmed and his PP-OLF YouTubers are noisy and are beating drum of war. But Eritrea, at least in public, ignored that noise. Neither has Eritrea so far has shown or jumped to support Amhara Fano and deposed Abiy Ahmed. I am sure, had Eritrea supported Fano, we could not be talking about Abiy Ahmed or OLF now. Because Fano needs heavy weapons - as the world knows Fano has no alliance supplying weapon to it. In my opinion, among others why Eritrea/Isaias has not supported Fano and entered into the war, because does not want to be the aggressor in the face of the international community.

One more about Eritrea appears to be not supporting Fano: we don’t know. It is not for the best interest of both parties to broadcast the relationship they may have; Abiy and the little Weyane would use this to generate support from their masters, the arabs and the westerns; because Eritrea and Fano are well hated by Arabs and Western, for obvious reasons; they aren’t anybody’s b@tches.

You probably listen to the weekend Dere news in regards to Eritrea’s alleged support to Welqait fighters though; while Abiy deseperately trying to disarm the Welqait fighters and militias to make it easy for TPLF invasion, instead, Welqait fighters are now well armed to the teeth by “unknown” source.
