Queen Arawelo (aka Gudit in the Abyssinian society) was the queen of the Horn of Africa region known as the “Somali Peninsula Region”, and she destroyed the Aksumite Empire which was originally built by the Agaw and the Somalis peoples. Like many female rulers, Queen Arawelo fought for female empowerment.
