In all fairness for Abit, the question of access to Assab is long standing with long overdue solution. I always supported Ethiopian quest for Assab. I believe Eritreans need to accept that as well.
But when it comes attacking or invading Eritrea, big no. Eritrea and Eritreans, including the president l, have done a lot for Ethiopia and ENDF. We should never forget that in a million years. Backstabbing Isayas by aligning with TPLF is a grave mistake. Not only Eritreans but also Ethiopians will fight Abiy if he dares to attack. I am a proud Ethiopian who doesn't hesitate to support Eritrea in such instances.

Okay, in that case you mean Abiy refused to cooperate with Eritrea and Eritrea was even backstabbed, isn't it?

Yes, we shouldn't forget or be ungrateful for the help Eritrea offered to the Ethiopian people, above all to the ENDF at the time of its needs, it was a matter of life and death perhaps for hundreds or even thousands.

I said repeatedly in here it is not for me to belittle that help, which saved lives.

But then it is also not wise to miss the reason why Eritrea suddenly felt upset as soon as the country agreed to end the war by means of peace-deal. This is an Ethiopian internal affair, at the end of the day.

Why did Eritrea fehlt upset here????

If this is not so clear, then the whole reason why Eritrea opted to support ENDF during the war was not out of a pure altruistic mission, rather because of its own vested interest in the whole issue. Ethiopia might have had a pure luck in such a case, for which no one should take a credit now, at least seen logically in my view.

In that case our interests, that of Ethiopia and Eritrea, were congruent during the war and once Ethiopia decided to end the internal war by the means it deemed appropriate, the two interests started to collide/compete with each other. This is the simple conclusion in my view.

Should Ethiopia abandon its own interest and pursue that of another country instead, which is competing with its own interest, or what are you trying to say, when you declare to fight against Ethiopia as an Ethiopian for the interest of another country??

Mind you clarifying your intention?

Of course, you agames would support a devil if devil starts a war against Eritrea, no surprise there. Nevertheless, if I were you, I would worry about my chigar kilil who is dying of starvation and many million horrible things. What we did to you, will do to others who cross us in a wrong way.

    I fully understand what your mission entails. Even though it goes against all common sense. One thing is certain though.
Ethiopia’s shameless betrayal and incredibly intrusive disregard for Eritrea's sovereignty and territorialintegrity is unforgivable. That was uncalled for. But, It is good that it is officially made public so that there is no place for ambiguity. Just know, starting a war is always easy, but ending it is another story.
