The coolest exoplanets ever discovered

You’re likely familiar with the unique and interesting planets that are part of our solar system, but the universe beyond our solar system is full of “exoplanets” that are even more fascinating. Categorized by their make-up as gas giants, Neptunian, super-Earths and terrestrial, exoplanets can be small or gigantic, scorching or icy cold, and contain mysteries we’re just beginning to understand. So far, NASA has detected more than 5,000 exoplanets, and we think these are just a few of the coolest ones out there.
